ELT polled our audiences in the fall of 2006 to ask what play you would like us to present during our 2007-2008 season. The play you selected was Neil Simon’s own rethinking of his most popular play, The Odd Couple.
In this version of the show, Felix Unger and Oscar Madison have become Florence Unger and Olive Madison, two divorced women who invite their best friends over for regular games of Trivial Pursuit. The Pigeon sisters have been replaced by the hilarious Constanzuela brothers. While the genders have been reversed for all of the characters, the dynamic between Unger and Madison remains the same. Many consider this version of the play to be even funnier than the original.
All shows will be in Mandeville Hall at the Clemens Center. Seating is limited. Tickets are $13.00 general admission and $11.00 for seniors and students. To reserve tickets, call the Clemens Center Box Office at 607-734-8191. For more information about this and all ELT’s happenings please visit ELT’s website at www.elmiralittletheatre.com
