Saving taxes at the expense of what? I would listen for what the district feels is special education services. Do they plan on moving special education classrooms? BOCES classrooms get moved just about every year. Specific ones. Before we jump to okay a budget, do not okay it at another childs expense. Our children with disabilities are people first. They thrive on a need for consistency and structure, and they are the first to be moved. Think about it as a person. Do you know where every special education room is located in the Elmira district? Most people don't.
