Are you or do you know a truck driver? Is that person overweight? Make sure you check out Nurti System's commercial. Obviously they seem to know what some of us don't, all truck drivers eat too much and need to lose weight.
I was offended and very pissed off that a lady on one of Nurti System's commercials says she "use to eat like a truck driver". My husband is a truck driver and is not overweight. We have many friends who also drive trucks and they are not overweight.
Does anyone else believe that Nutri System's decision to put that in a television commercial was ignorant? Did they not take into consideration that people would be offended? Isn't this another type of discrimination that our world doesn't need?
This country would stop if not for these truck drivers! More people need to remember that we need truck drivers to deliver the things that we need and use everyday. Give these men and women the respect they deserve. And let Nutri System know that ignorance is not good for business!
