The Diabetes Action Group will present the 8
th Annual Diabetes Fair Monday, November 16
th at the Chemung County Health Department Assembly Room. Two sessions are scheduled. The first is from noon - 2 p.m. The second is from 4-6 p.m.
Attendees can avail themselves of free health screenings, including blood pressure, blood glucose, cholesterol, diabetes risk assessment, body fat analysis, and kidney, foot, eye and oral screenings. Representatives from the Tobacco Cessation Center at Arnot Health and the Arnot Health Diabetes Center, as well as pharmaceutical representatives and diabetes care vendors will attend.
Cholesterol and other screenings require registration. Interested individuals are invited to call Health on Demand at 607-737-4499.
The Diabetes Action Group is a collaborative of Arnot Health, the Chemung County Health Department, St. Joseph’s Hospital and the Chemung Valley Rural Health Network.
